The Greenhouse Vegetarian & Vegan Restaurant
is run by partners Kerry (chef) &
Nathan (front of house) with help from mum,
Ann (underwater ceramics technician ;-).
In the future they hope to have their own
premises but for the time being they
‘borrow’ those belonging to the popular
licensed café Joules Eating House that does
not normally open on a Thursday or Friday
night.
They have their own knives, chopping boards,
fryer and utensils etc. that are never used
for anything non-vegetarian. Some pots and
pans, cutlery and crockery from the Eating
House are used and are always thoroughly
cleaned beforehand. The Greenhouse also has
its own separate fridge and freezer.
The menu changes regularly to suit the
season and/or to make the most of special
events or simply because Chef says so!
Group bookings can be catered for and a
minimum number of 16 will secure the entire
restaurant for the evening meaning a cosy
private party. A menu can be tailored to
suit provided enough notice is given.

Advance booking is preferred though not
